(a) Establish a fund known as the Australian Jewish Association Tzedakah Fund that will have as its principal activity the promotion of the prevention or control of human behaviour that is harmful or abusive to human beings.
The behaviour addressed by the Association is regarding emotional and physical abuse. The specified behaviour is addressed through the following activities: convening and participating in talks and events, discussion groups and forums, publishing papers, articles and making submissions, media commentary, lobbying government at all levels and providing practical support to those at risk and needy in the community.
(b) Collaborate with organisations locally and overseas which are involved in community harm prevention programmes and facilitate the development and promulgation of tools, education and resources for harm prevention in Australia.
(e) promote mutual respect and tolerance between groups of people in Australia by actively countering antisemitism, racism and bringing widespread understanding and tolerance among all sectors of the community.
(g) educate the public regarding the importance of ending racial discrimination in all of its forms in accordance with the International Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination through talks, discussion groups, the publication of papers and articles any other legal means.
