Although on ANZAC Day many Australians will reflexly think of Gallipoli the truth is that was a defeat. The ANZAC’s greatest success in WWI was arguably in the Battle of Be’er Sheva with the legendary charge of the Light Horse Brigade. This was a turning point in the war.

The historical and current battles involving Israel have great significance and ramifications beyond local issues and not just for the Jewish people. With Western civilisation based on Judea-Christian ethics we see that adherents to ideologies which oppose Western civilisation are usually hostile to Israel. Afterall, both the Judeo side and the Christian side began substantially in the Land of Israel.

Both Brendan O’Neill and Sharri Markson have been leading outspoken commentators on the Israel vs Gaza war.
Consistent with the Pesach / Passover period, this is again a fight for freedom and self-determination of the Jewish people.

So join us and hear from two of the brightest and most articulate involved in defending Israel today. We will discuss what’s going on, the issues and political and media bias.
