Gaza’s Jewish history stretches thousands of years. Jews were expelled by the Romans, crusaders and British.
In 2005, Israel expelled 10 thousand Jews from 21 communities in Gaza as a gesture for peace. With the takeover by Hamas it had the opposite effect.
AJA doesn’t take a position on this issue, but polls show that almost 40% of Israelis support Jews returning to Gaza.
Daniella Weiss was mayor of Kedumim and founded the Nachala Settlement Movement, which works to create Jewish communities in Judea & Samaria. Lital Slonim is the International Director of the Nachala Settlement Movement.
