Robert was born and raised in Sydney. He graduated from Bond University with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and was admitted to the legal profession in Queensland.
After working in the legal industry for several years, Robert served as AJA Public Affairs Director for two years before being appointed Chief Executive Officer.
In his time with AJA, Robert has been published numerous times in major newspapers including the Australian, The Daily Telegraph and the Jerusalem Post. He has been interviewed on several TV stations as well as on radio.
Robert was the only representative from the Australian Jewish community invited to address a Federal Senate inquiry into human rights in Iran. He has been an outspoken advocate for the Muslim Uyghurs facing persecution in China.
