Born in South Africa and raised in Sydney, Teneille graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) & Bachelor of Music and began her career in the Sydney Jewish Community after spending time furthering her education in Israel.
Before her appointment at the AJA, Teneille served as the Executive Director of The Zionist Council of NSW for 4 years. At the time of her appointment Teneille was one of the youngest members of the Australian Jewish Community to hold a communal leadership title.
Teneille is a board member of the Liberal Friends of Israel, was previously Vice President of The Israel Business Club, and has been influential in the Young Adult Jewish Community of Sydney hosting numerous events and Israel programs.
